4 Bedroom Cabin in Logan

Only 8.1 miles to Old Mans Cave! 11 miles to Ash Cave! 11 miles to Conkles Hollow! The renovated log cabin features a welcoming 50 foot front porch complete with a swing and rocking chairs! The fully remodeled kitchen and modern appliances will offer you all the comforts of home and includes a beautiful 8’ granite island and seating for 6. Guests will enjoy this perfect entertaining space, as the dining table and kitchen are open to the large living space, 60” tv, and wood burning fireplace. There is a half bath on the main floor. Overlook the private, peaceful wooded grounds and small pond from the 50 foot second floor balcony. The first floor of the cabin has 2 private bedrooms, and each has a king bed. The master bathroom is complete with jetted tub, glass enclosed shower, and washer and dryer.
The log cabin features a walkout lower level and lounging space that includes a pool table and 60” tv. The lower level includes another bedroom, that can sleep 6 adults comfortably in 2 bunk beds, both full-over-queen (or up to 8 with small children). Downstairs guests will have a private full bath as well.
The property also has a private cottage only 100 feet from the main house. The cottage has its own full bath, fully equipped kitchen, and can sleep 2 in the cozy bedroom with queen bed. The cottage rental is included with the regular rental fee.
All guests will have access to the oversized, jetted hot tub on the lower level!
While staying here, please take time for a peaceful walk in the woods along the paths, roast marshmallows over the firepit, feed the fish and watch for wildlife! This cabin rental is for all those that are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Parties, loud music, and additional guests WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. NO ATVs or recreational vehicles without prior approval. No pets. Swimming and fishing are not allowed. Hunting is not permitted. The pond is NOT fenced and extreme caution should be taken with children.

Must be at least 30 to rent at this cabin. Owners may ask to see proof of drivers license.

Summary: Unfortunately can not recommend. I had high hopes for this beautiful property. The location, yard and space was nice, however we had so many issues. Was a bit chilly first night being some guest sleep hot and no extra blankets. Shower time and only one towel per guest. The fridge was leaking from a clogged drain, the oven wouldnt get to temperature. They did order a part but had to walk to other cabin for all cooking. The dryer wouldnt dry and was throwing error code for clogged vent. The jacuzzi wouldnt turn on. So many inconveniences made for a not very relaxing vacation. They did communicate but didnt offer much apology or any reimbursement. Hopefully these things will be fixed and next guest will enjoy far more.

Summary: This was a great place to spend a week with friends away from the city! Plenty of room to prep and cook food in the kitchen; a big dining room table and lots of additional seating in the open living room/kitchen area; 2.5 bathrooms with bathtubs and showers in both the full baths; and the amazing giant bunk beds made it a great pick for a medium-sized group that needed a lot of beds but not a huge space. Lots of places to break off from the group and read or play games (loved the covered back porch when it was raining!) and a huge yard with a little trail through the woods that lets you get a taste of the hiking elsewhere. Easy drive to several great hiking trails. Starlink internet was fast and strong for folks concerned about connectivity.

Summary: All was great except we arrived in 95 degree weather and there was no air conditioning in guest house. Only way to communicate with owner/ manager was email which sometimes took over 12 hours. We did not get a window air conditioner until after 9 pm on 2 nd day which meant 2 adults had to sleep 2 nights on coaches in our basement. Not good when is 6'4"! No electric mixer or crock pot which I consider part of a normal kitchen. Needed more hand towels. I think there were only 2-3. Otherwise very lovely.

Summary: The host responded quickly with a few hiccups with utilities. Comfortable and well stocked kitchen. The listing says charcoal grill, but there was propane! the downstairs bedroom and living area and the small cottage is just a cement floor so bring socks or slippers as it can be cold.
